For nearly 40 years, Addiction Services Central Ontario (ASCO) has been a leading government funded treatment provider for substance use, problem gambling and mental illness.
Since opening our doors in 1983 as Addiction Services of York Region, our name has changed to reflect our growing services and partnerships within York Region and beyond.
Our kind and dedicated professionals have helped thousands of people reach their goals each year from across our many service locations.
We place clients at the centre of their treatment—exploring their short and long-term goals with a respectful and understanding approach that meets their needs.
We also connect clients to agencies throughout our strong network of community services and supports.
ASCO is a partner in several Ontario Health Teams, making sure that addiction and mental health are represented in system planning.
Dedicated to sharing knowledge about substance use, gambling and mental health, we welcome requests for presentations, workshops and resources from schools and the community.
