Addiction Services Central Ontario (ASCO) offers a free, culturally safe and responsive mental health and addictions program serving Black-identifying individuals ages 12+ including youth, adults, and families in York Region.

This program has been designed for Black-identifying individuals who wish to access services offered by Black-identifying health care professionals, all of whom are trauma-informed and ready to provide you with the best possible care. We aim to reduce barriers to care, promote early intervention, coordinate care and support improved health outcomes.

What We Offer:

Mental health and substance use counselling and/or mental health and substance use medical management.

    Flexible Services Available:

    The BMHA Program provides services in flexible ways. While some assessments may need to take place in person, counselling, follow ups, and help navigating services can take place in person or virtually.

    Our Interdisciplinary Team:

    Our team includes a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Counsellor, and Systems Navigator who can provide you with the wraparound supports you need to achieve your goals.
